The Wear Base Unit is a partnership of teachers from the Acute Hospitals, Mental Health and Primary Care Trusts (General Practitioners) of South Tyneside, Sunderland and Durham.  Geographically we represent a large area, which will give students the opportunity to see patients in a wide range of backgrounds and experience clinical practice in a range of settings. 

The Wear Base Unit Office is based within the Education Centre at Sunderland Royal Hospital and is open from 8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Thusday and 8.30am - 4.30pm on Fridays.  You can contact the office via the main switchboard (0191 5656256) extension 40056/42450/42239 or direct on 0191 5410056.
