Within City Hospitals the Department of Medical Education is made up of the following functions, which are located within the Education Centre, Sunderland Royal Hospital:
- Undergraduate Medical Education
- Postgraduate Medical Education
- EWTR Compliance /Junior Doctor rota support
Led by Dr Andy Mellon, Director of Medical Education/Consultant Paediatrician the structure of the Department has been specifically designed to deliver the current and expected developments in all areas, whilst utilising in house expertise across all functions.
