Further Information

An overnight out of hours on call service is available from 4.30pm – 8.30am to provide treatment for those patients whose condition is likely to deteriorate without physiotherapy. The service is covered by a rota system, the current copy of which is held by switchboard.
Physiotherapy is also provided by the on call services at weekends and bank holidays, when 2.5 WTE members of staff will be on site treating patients between the core hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm after which the service reverts to the overnight on call system.
The Orthopaedic Wards have dedicated qualified and assistant staff working Saturdays and Sundays to provide cover on these wards.
