Introduction
The Head and Neck Directorate provides sub regional services for the specialties of ENT, OMFS and Orthodontics. In addition, the Directorate provides a local Audiology service to Sunderland and supporting dental laboratory. The Directorate also hosts the New Born Hearing Screening service for Sunderland, Gateshead and South Tyneside.
