Path to Success, a London-based charity, which supports projects which have an immediate and demonstrable positive impact upon the health, welfare and educational prospects of young people and adults with disabilities, mental health and shelter concerns has kindly donated a wheelchair to City Hospitals Sunderland to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year. “We are aware of the great work that the NHS is doing to help cover patients’ requirements across the UK and we wanted to collaborate with Hospitals and help some of the patients by providing the Wheelchairs. We have been fortunate to witness Her Majesty’s many years of service during which time her commitment to Home, the Commonwealth and hundreds of Charitable interests, have supported and inspired generations of Britons. We wish to contribute in the lead up to this momentous event by running a campaign in her honour and celebrating this wonderful personal and National event. Our philosophy is to help those who are so keen to make a success of their inability into ability. We hope the growth of Path to Success will help achieve a change in the destiny of a targeted society or a single individual.
City Hospitals Sunderland received the donated wheelchair at an event on 11 May and is extremely grateful for this generous donation which will be of enormous benefit to patients who visit the hospital.
