The Trust has now published its Equality and Diversity Strategy to cover the period between 2012 and 2016.  This document is a public commitment of how we aspire to meet the needs and wishes of local people and our staff, and meet the duties placed upon us by the Equality Act 2010, and the requirements of the national NHS Equality Delivery System (EDS).  It recognises the differences between people, and how we aim to make sure that (as far as possible) any gaps and inequalities are identified and addressed.

This final strategy includes our core objectives which provides us with a clear pathway forward to improve equality for those people who access our services and for our staff.
